Classes

Six ways to train. Every class except Fight Team is built for beginners, and your free week covers all of them.

How we train

At Alchemy MMA, we teach more than techniques. We teach the principles that make them work.

Our classes combine foundational instruction, technical drilling, and interactive partner training. Through guided challenges and live problem-solving, students learn to recognize opportunities, adapt to resistance, and develop skills they can apply under pressure.

Understand the principles. Explore the possibilities. Make the skills your own.

"See times" opens our live schedule, which always shows the current times.

Here is exactly what happens, start to finish.

  1. Sign up for the free weekTakes two minutes online. Pick any class on the schedule.
  2. Arrive 10 minutes earlyWear athletic clothes with no zippers. A water bottle is encouraged. Shoes come off at the mat.
  3. Meet your coachThey will ask about injuries and goals, then pair you with an experienced partner.
  4. Train at your paceWarm-up, technique, and partner drills. Live training depends on the class, your experience, and your comfort level.
Do I need to be in shape first?

No. Most people think they need to get in shape before they start. They don't. They just need to start. Coaches scale the work to where you are today.

I have never done martial arts. Is that a problem?

Everyone starts somewhere. The Fundamentals classes are built for beginners, and you don't need to know what you're doing. You just need to show up.

What should my kid wear?

Comfortable athletic clothing without zippers or pockets is recommended. A water bottle is encouraged but not required. No uniform or special equipment is needed for their first class.

Will I get hurt?

Our culture is control over ego. Interactive training is controlled, and participation is adapted to your experience and comfort. Partners are expected to look after each other.

Can I watch a class first?

Absolutely! You're welcome to come watch a class, meet the coaches, and get a feel for Alchemy MMA before stepping onto the mats. We recommend contacting us ahead of time so we can help you choose the right class to visit.
